Overview

AI Residents / Interns at Nova X work directly on next-generation Physical AI and robotics systems while collaborating closely with our founders and engineering team.

What you will work on

• Supporting training and evaluation of AI models
• Building tooling and infrastructure for ML workflows
• Assisting with robotics datasets, simulation, and evaluation pipelines
• Implementing and testing modern AI methods
• Working with multimodal AI systems and robotics infrastructure
• Supporting deployment and experimentation on robotic systems
• Collaborating closely with AI Engineers, AI Research Engineers, and Robotics / Systems Engineers

Typical background

• Strong Python skills
• Basic PyTorch experience
• Strong curiosity about AI and robotics
• Hands-on builder mentality
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment
• Interest in Physical AI, robotics, computer vision, or multimodal systems
• Experience with Isaac Sim

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS2, simulation, or robotics
• Open-source contributions
• Experience with GPU workflows
• Co-author of a research paper
• Experience with multimodal AI systems

Location

We currently prefer candidates within reasonable travel distance to our German robotics operations in Duesseldorf.
